FUD

The Fifth Institution, a blog by Mike Murry, comments on my blog entry "A Postmortem: The Anti-War Movement, September 2001-March 2004": "The author says that the reason [for the dissolution of the anti-war movement] is that we have forgotten the lessons from the past. While I agree with that, I think it also has a lot to do with the FUD the Democrats are spreading. We some times do things that we normally wouldn't when we are afraid" ("Is The Anti-War Movement Dead?" July 19, 2004). Can't agree more.
